Brand Name Baby Clothing - Disney (Boys)

The world wide appeal of the Disney brand was brought home to me when we first went looking for baby clothes for our daughter here in the Philippines. Back in England, Disney and other top brands dominated the baby clothes in the main stores, but somehow I had not expected it to be the same here in South East Asia.

The disney baby clothing range is constantly being updated. The illustrations below are just a sample of what is currently available for newborn baby boys in the US.

For me, two piece suits look much better on boys than one piece, or Onsies. I am sure some will disagree. However, loose fitting two piece suits, such as the fleece baby outfit pictured left, can be just as practical as onsies while still being cute. The royal blue pants in this set are really smart, while the white top, with royal blue neck band, is brought to life by that old Disney favourite, Mickey Mouse.

For cosy winter nights, many parents of newborn babies prefer the coverall. These are very practical and snuggly, usually coming with plenty of space for baby boys to grow into.

The white coverall shown left features a modern Disney character, Winnie the Pooh. As an Englishman who used to live near Winnie the Pooh's Ashdown Forest home, where pooh sticks are still practised by tourists, I find it difficult to think of Pooh as a Disney character, but Disney acquired the rights some years ago. Winnie the Pooh does travel well. Here where I live, on a remote tropical island, my daughter proudly carries a Winnie the Pooh bag as she says goodbye and prepares to go out, pretending to go to school.

For those who like Onsies, Winnie the Pooh makes another appearance on this minimalist outfit intended for newborn baby boys. This example is a long sleeved Onsie, striped in navy, green, and white, with a snap crotch.
