Dreft is what I have always used. You can also buy any detergent that is dye and perfume free. That’s what causes most allergic reactions.

    Congrats on the new addition!

I use any of the Free and Clear ones…Dreft can be pricey…..I used Purex Free and Clear on my lo’s clothes still and he’s going to be 11 months on friday.

I used to use Tide which was fine but then changed to more eco friendly detergent, like Seventh Generation, it is not only better for the environment but less chemicals in it.

Never had a problem with any of them.

actually the best thing is baking soda and its cheap, nothing else then hang dry it is actually better then all the dreft and all baby, even though all baby is pretty afforfable, you can add some lotion to the wash to make the clothes soft.

I use All free and clear. I have really sensitive skin and was worried about my son having the same issue. It’s free of scents and dyes, so you don’t have to worry about allergens.

I never bought a special detergant for my kids when they were babies. I used whatever on their clothes that I used for me and my husband. There is one tho that is supposedly just for baby clothes called Dreft.

Anything that is free of perfumes and dyes. I have used Dreft in the past, but son is now 10 weeks old and I have used Purex Free and Clear for a few weeks now.

I never used anything special and my son never broke out or anything. They say Dreft or something spelled like that, it is in a pink bottle.

Anything free of dyes and perfumes. I think Dreft is a little overpriced.

I love love love Baby All. It smells so sweet, is great at getting out stains and it’s not as expensive as Dreft. My daughter never broke out in a rash and neither did I. I had previously switched to all free n clear for my own sensitive skin.

If you can afford it,use Baby Purex,Dreft,or any kind of baby based detergent(you can find it in the baby aisle or in the detergent aisle all by eachother, but if you can’t afford those(I buy them on occasion when I have extra money) buy Free and Clear detergent whether it be generic or name brand…anything without dyes and perfumes. Both of my daughters have eczema really bad and they break out horribly when I use anything but baby detergent or free and clear detergent.

    Dreft!

I love Dreft but it can be expensive. I have a young son with skin allergies and All Free and Clear is a good alternative. All Free and Clear contains no dyes or fragrances, so it should not irritate baby’s skin. It can also be used on the rest of the family’s laundry, especially if any one else has allergies.

I use Dreft and I wouldn’t use anything else. Some people, mainly older folks, say that Ivory is pretty good too. If you go online and search for free baby stuff, you can get coupons for Dreft sent to you. They come in handy!

arm & hammer clean burst. ALWAYS test any detergent. you have to make sure your little one isn’t allergic to any ingredience

I use Purex Baby (which is really good) and it is cheap at Wal-Mart. That part is nice since you end up doing so much laundry!! lol…
I also add some Amaze to every load to get out the "baby stains". You could also go with good old Ivory Snow, I just prefer the smell of the Purex personally!!
I would definately go easy on using a "normal" detergent (ie. Gain is what we use for our stuff) as baby might have sensitive skin and since baby isnt here yet, better safe than sorry!!

    good luck and congrats!!!!
