What is the most effective way to remove baby food stains from baby clothes?

I found formula and spit-up easy to remove…but baby food just doesn’t want to come off her clothes. I have washed some items maybe 3 times and the stain is still there.

Can you help me out.

Thanks a lot

Spay and wash Stain Stick…I love that stick.(you can apply it an hour to a week before washing the clothes and it will take it out) . It takes out almost EVERYTHING, from tomatoe sauces to blood. It even removes gum. Also I found that arm & hammer with oxyclean works very well.

oxiclean always works for me, on even the most stubborn stains. they make one especially for babies too.
i soak the item in hot water in the sink and rub oxiclean on it, and let it soak for a little bit before throwing it in the laundry. so far, it hasn’t failed yet. good luck!

I used ZOUT on my son’s clothes and I also used a little laundry soap and an old toothbrush on the stains. Zout works good on certain set-in stains, like grease and some babyfood stains.

Apply detergent or pretreatment immediatly ASAP and allow to sit for a few minutes then scrub gently with a soft sponge or brush. Wash in SUPER hot water immediatly.

I use Zout the most , you should try it. I just put it on and the stain is gone after sitting for an hour. Not much of a dry cleaner but there you go! LOL

I’ve had some very stubborn food stains that will not come out in the wash even with stain remover. I read to put the clothes in the sun to dry and the stain will be removed. Well…I washed the clothes AGAIN and put them in the sun to dry and poof the stain was gone. Even after being washed and dried in the drier several times. Good luck!

We use oxiclean and vinegar and bleach on the whites…

Oh and supposedly once you dry something in the dryer the stain is set..not sure if it’s true but I’ve hear that…

i use oxyclean too but I dont soak it. I take the item and lay it out on the counter and put the oxyclean in a bowl with some hot water and stir it. Let it sit till it foams up on top. then take that foam and put it on the stains. Even if it is a 1 yr old stain, letting this sit till it dries, it will disappear. I dont know where it goes but I have taken old clothes from the attic and cured stains that are old and forgotten about.

it may sound silly but, I use bizzel, the stuff for the little green
machine. Whites, darks,or colords, it works good for me,
I also mix tide, and borax to my wash, and for rinse, I put
spring fresh downy, bizzel also brings out, coffee stains,
tea, rust stains, grass stains, iodine, all stains come out.

I use good old dish soap and it removes everything!
apply it to the stain and use an old tooth brush to work it into the material, then let it soak overnight and launder, and the stains will be gone!
