Do you pay retail for your childrens’ designer clothes?

Or do you let someone else buy them and then pick them up for practically free on Ebay, at yard sales, or thrift stores?
I love designer clothes but can’t bear to spend on a shirt outgrown or stained within 6 months.
I found a brand new, with tag Children’s Place Outfit at my local thrift store, for . Plus a baby gap outfit, and a Jolene’s formals suit for four, None had ever been worn!

BUt, my question is, will you buy second hand clothes, or do they all have to be new?
I am very snobby about how he looks. My son always looks dapper in his Oilily, Gap, Good Lads and Ralph Lauren too.

I shop on Ebay a lot mostly because I don’t live near any good kids retail stores and if I am going to have to pay shipping then I want to pay a lower price. I do buy new most of the time though, but it is still almost 50% cheaper then the store prices. I will be the first to admit that I am kind of a snob when it comes to dressing my girls, they are almost always dressed in gymboree or gap. My son I am not as picky about because he refuses to wear anything that doesn’t have John Deere on it anyways lol.

I have found great stuff at thrift stores too!

Combination well never full price. We will buy on sale or with coupon on the store but not full price. We get things on Ebay, sales, etc. We have our daughters children’s place costume already for this year. It is last years witch costume worn once we got the hat cape, out fit, matching candy bag, broom and tights for 16.00 it would be 40.00 bucks for one day if we got it new

I never bought "designer clothes" for my kids when they were little. They were tall kids so they grew through sizes quickly and it didn’t make sense to spend a lot of money on something they could only wear for 3 months. I just bought sturdy, well-made clothing that looked good on them. The labels didn’t matter to them until they were around age 12 and I didn’t want to encourage that kind of label-consciousness anyway.

I buy all my 3 grandkids clothes at Macys and Dillards during their twice a year end of season 75% off sales- I buy for the NEXT year. I usually spend about $300 for about $1200 worth of clothes! Right now, I’ve started buying for next summer. So, I buy NEW, but at a greatly reduced price!

    I never buy used.
I only buy from ebay if it’s new.

My daughter’s wear mostly Children’s Place and Gymboree but I always use the gymbucks and our coupons for children’s place.
